About the Role

As an experienced Associate Director of Growth Strategy, you will excel in proposal writing, have worked in the health and human services market, and have an understanding of Medicaid policy and technology. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of the government IT landscape and procurement process, can grasp complex technology systems, and has the writing skills to explain how technology capabilities meet RFP requirements

Experience and Skills

  • Experience and expertise in health and human services policy, preferably in the Medicaid Enterprise Systems domain, to understand customer needs and translate technical requirements for internal stakeholders 
  • Comfortability in identifying and digesting complex product and technical information for use in RFPs 
  • A collaborator who can build relationships and get information from internal engineers, developers, product experts, and other technical personnel; 
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to make complex information easily consumable by non-technical readers 
  • Experience in building RFP response strategies, defining “win themes” and crafting narrative proposal content that highlights Innovaccer-specific win themes, differentiators, discriminators, etc. 
  • Ability to write, edit, proofread, and format content for final proposal submission in a high quality and efficient manner 
  • Ability to source and/or work with subject matter experts to design graphics and visualizations that enhance readability and amplify key theme 
  • Demonstrates expertise and confidence in meetings with external stakeholders, including vendor partners 
  • Experience with healthcare technologies or solutions 
  • Experience and willingness to work with geographically dispersed teams across the US and India 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing RFPs and assessing Innovaccer solution fit and advising on Go/No Go 
  • Developing and tracking detailed RFP requirements, conducting gap analysis, and defining vendor questions
  • Authoring RFP responses 
  • Solutions to ensure the responses are nuanced and customized to the prospect's context and needs 
  • Working with cross-functional teams on identifying and developing answers and solving 
  • Coordinating with the Growth Strategist to ensure successful delivery of RFP response 
  • Occasionally, helping to author marketing content and white papers

Nice To Have

    • Comfort with the Google product suite 
    • Experience planning, organizing and managing proposal processes 
    •  Familiarity with a colored-review process(i.e., Shipley)
