Associate Director, Commercial Performance & Insights, Salon, Global

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Head of Global Commercial Growth, the key function of this role is to lead the global performance and insight agenda across all channel and portfolio as well as lead the global Commercial Performance & Insight (CP&I) team. This involves design and govern sales reporting, communicating of sales performance, analytics and insights  well as engage into business results across the organisation

Education Experiences and other Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in commercial or sales 
  • Strong verbal English communication and presentation skills
  • Strong record of building and leading a high performance team
  • Experienced in building best in class reporting metrics and tools (PowerBi) 
  • Strategic understanding of B2B sales organizations is preferred
  • Experience in working with P&L and sales fundamentals 
  • Knowledge of data management
  • Strong analytics skills

Key Responsibilities

Govern sales performance visibility and consistency:

  • Manage and communicate the consolidated view f sales performance globally
  • Monitor and drive standards and consistency of sales reporting across countries and regions to ensure accuracy of information and enable comparative analysis
  • Ensure sales data is utilized in effective and meaningful ways to drive action
  • Educate stakeholders on policies and guidelines coupled with training sales
  • Performance Management in term of supporting sales goals & KPI setting

Drive sales insights and performance improvements:

  • Support post-mortem evaluations of global initiatives by engaging into business results and drive performance against KPI's and understanding of root causes
  • Present insights on sales performance by analyzing information to uncover pattern, correlations and trend to inform strategic decision making

Cross-functional collaborating and leadership:

  • Lead the global CP&I team and collaborate with various departments including Finance, Global Design Teams and other regional teams to align reporting needs and drive of consistent "one number" behavior
