About the Role
As the Team Lead of Affiliate, Influencer & Podcast team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive global strategy that drives growth, increases brand visibility, and maximizes ROI across our affiliate and influencer programs. You will lead a team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and optimizing operational processes to support expansion and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and iterate on a comprehensive strategy for affiliate marketing and influencer partnerships 
  • Leverage data and market insights to identify high-opportunity segments and craft strategies that resonate with diverse customer profiles. Continuously refine tactics to drive customer acquisition and optimize the ROI of affiliate and influencer campaigns 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Legal, Finance) to ensure the strategy is feasible, scalable, and aligned with broader business objectives 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of affiliate and influencer marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the affiliate and influencer marketing programs, ensuring that processes are efficient, scalable, and compliant with legal standards 
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of affiliate and influencer campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies, scale program, and improve ROI 
  • Manage and seek measurement mechanisms to continuously better our understanding of affiliate efforts on both short- and long-term impact on the greater growth team channel mix, to support overall team growth goals 
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement 
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with global operations, ensuring that all activities comply with legal, ethical, and brand standards 
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key affiliate partners and influencers 
  • Oversee negotiation and contract management, ensuring favorable terms that align with company objectives and deliver value to both parties 

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2C marketing for ecommerce 
  • 3+ years of experience in a people management role 
  • Experience with subscription services or an organization with high repurchase rates strongly preferred 
  • Deep understanding of the affiliate marketing space and the ability to stay current on rapidly changing trends therein 
  • Experience establishing and effectively measuring KPIs to directly drive revenue 
  • Curious and improvement focused approach to looking at data 
  • Proven track record of scaling an affiliate program 
  • Proactive, get-it-done attitude that inspires others
