Role Purpose

As an Associate Consultant in the Crisis Management Team you will be supporting clients and other team members to deliver crisis management consulting services with a focus on supporting the delivery of our Incident Management Workshops and other Crisis Management Training Courses as well as broader crisis and continuity consulting tasks as required.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Consult on fee earning projects as required, supporting development of high-quality training and exercising content, and reports.
  • Support the development of client relationships with a portfolio of clients and prospects to drive sales, delivery and overall market growth through a consultative engagement process.
  • Support the logistics and administration processes required to deliver the crisis management training
  • Supporting and facilitating fee earning consultancy tasks and projects related to training in kidnap, extortion and crisis management.
  • Support in sales development, scoping, delivery and reporting.
  • Business Development: Support maintenance of client relationships; act as a point of contact for all kidnap training projects.
  • Brand & reputation: Engagement in marketing campaigns and events, including seeking out and participating in internal and external industry events.
  • People & Team: Work effectively as part of a team on client projects Support logistics and delivery of crisis management exercises to clients
  • Ensure that practices, policies, strategy and services are fully aligned with client needs.
  • The role may involve some travel to client sites and Control Risks offices (across the region).

Requirements

  • Recent and relevant experience within crisis management, business continuity, risk, security, or professional services.
  • Proven ability of operating successfully at a junior level, working as part of team, supporting professional delivery with a focus on quality.
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proven team player with independent capacity to also work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and balance competing requirements.
  • High level of competency with D365 suite, especially PowerPoint and Word.
  • Competent in the use of finance and invoicing systems.
  • Demonstrate basic project management skills.
