Our Capital Markets Advisory practice believes effective investor engagement connects insights, narratives and financial data to manage expectations around opportunities and risks. We leverage best-in-class insights, our investor relations expertise and digital resources to enhance confidence in our clients’ value creation strategies across all relevant stakeholders. Our work covers ongoing financial storytelling, transactions (IPOs, spin-offs, divestitures, M&A, etc.) as well as special situations (shareholder activism, restructuring, etc.).
Candidate Qualities
As an Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to help drive communications around key financial moments for a client, including quarterly earnings and transactions. As a part of the broader Corporate Issues team, you will also have the opportunity to work on reputational issues such as recalls, litigation and cyber events. You will be working directly with senior leadership to help drive research, develop materials, build media lists, scope work, support new business, and balance multiple shifting priorities in real-time. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Additionally, the ideal candidate follows markets and financial news as well as other current events and is able to translate that knowledge into actionable insights for clients. A strong academic record is necessary, and experience in financial communications is preferred – but candidates of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

NYC Salary range: $52,000 - $60,000
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
