About the Role
Zeta is looking to hire an Associate for the Business Operations - Credit Card unit in our offices in Bangalore. We are looking for candidates who have relevant experience in credit card operations management. The candidates should possess experience in credit cards dispute resolution, settlement and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of prepaid wallet transactions including credits, debits, and cashback.
  • Review transaction reports and statements to identify discrepancies between internal systems and external bank/partner statements.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies by coordinating with relevant teams (Operations, IT, and partners).
  • Ensure that all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner and meet compliance and audit requirements.
  • Monitor prepaid wallet balances and ensure accuracy in records and reports.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to improve reconciliation processes and system performance.
  • Manage and reconcile chargebacks, refunds, and failed transactions.
  • Prepare reports on reconciliation status and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation of reconciliation processes and transaction history.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of reconciliation procedures and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keep customer needs at the forefront of priorities and take relevant action
  • MS excel / Google sheet knowledge would be preferred.
  • Must have domain knowledge on banking / Payments

Education & Qualifications

  • Graduate with 1 to 3 yrs of experience in Operations / Servicing
  • Relevant experience in Fintech/Banking domain, more specifically in credit card operations

Expectations

  • Candidate should have strong knowledge in Excel (Advance Excel will be preferable)
  • Experience working in the Bank, NBFC, Fintech or Digital Payments Industry.
  • Knowledge of Banking Operations, Payment Systems, Fast / Digital Payments, or Wallet.
  • Proven experience in reconciliation, preferably in digital payments / wallet, fintech, or banking environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using reconciliation tools and software, including Excel and other financial systems.
  • Familiarity with prepaid wallet systems, payment gateways and transaction flows.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex reconciliation issues.
