As an Assistant Store Leader, you will work closely with the Store Leader to ensure the store is operationally sound, business results are achieved, and exceptional customer service is provided consistently.

Responsibilities for Operations
·      You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
·      We require you to maintain a clean and organized stockroom. You own the shipment handling and hold the team accountable for meeting productivity goals.
·      You shall manage inventory levels, oversee in-store replenishment and are responsible for size integrity on the sales floor, and communicate sell-through concerns with the Store Leader.
·      You are responsible for proper management of damages, donations, returns and product issues that could jeopardize inventory accuracy.
·      We expect you to effectively communicate and train store associates on operational standards, ensuring that they understand and implement our brand standards consistently.
·      You shall ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
·      You oversee supply procurement and ensure the correct levels of supplies are always available and manage the budget accordingly.
·      You oversee the upkeep of in-store technology and communicate any updates with the team.
·      We expect you to assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
·      We require you to analyze sales data and reports to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
 
Requirements
·      You must have strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team of store associates.
·      You should have excellent organizational skills and be able to oversee daily operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and scheduling.
·      We expect you to have a deep understanding of customer service principles and the ability to provide exceptional service to all customers.
·      We expect you to prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
·      You should possess strong problem-solving abilities and be able to handle any issues that may arise in the store.
·      We require effective communication skills and the ability to communicate with customers and team members.
·      It is important for you to have a good understanding of sales techniques and be able to motivate your team to meet and exceed sales targets.
·      We value flexibility and expect you to be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

 

Responsibilities for People and Culture
 
·      You will assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce at SKIMS.
·      You shall conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for store positions, ensuring that candidates are evaluated based on their skills, qualifications, and alignment with SKIMS mission and values.
·      We expect you to promote a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering open communication, addressing employee concerns, and resolving conflicts.
·      You will collaborate with the Store Leader to create and implement training programs that enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance.
·      You shall support the development of succession plans for key roles within the store, identifying and nurturing talent within the team.
·      We expect you to oversee the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs and team-building activities, to foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
·      You will ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards in all aspects of people and culture management.
·      We expect you to analyze employee feedback and HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
 
Requirements
 
·      You must have a strong understanding of human resources practices and policies to effectively support the People and Culture team.
·      You should be skilled in conducting interviews, onboarding new hires, and managing employee relations to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
·      We expect you to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and provide guidance to employees.
·      You must possess exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as maintaining personnel records, coordinating training programs, and implementing HR initiatives.
·      We require you to have a proactive approach in identifying areas for improvement within the organization's culture and proposing strategies to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion.
·      You should demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy to effectively address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and unbiased manner.
·      It is important that you are knowledgeable about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
·      We value individuals who have experience working in a retail or customer service-oriented environment, as this role involves supporting store operations and engaging with customers.

Responsibilities for Product
 
·              You will be responsible for maintaining the visual merchandising standards of the store, ensuring that all products are displayed in an appealing and organized manner. Planning new launches and using business insight and customer feedback to inform merchandising decisions.
·      You shall collaborate with the Store Leader and other team members to create a visually captivating store environment that showcases our product offerings and attracts customer attention.
·      We expect you to regularly update product displays and signage to reflect new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal changes, ensuring that our customers can easily find what they are looking for. React quickly to sell through and make adjustments as needed to maximize business results and productivity.
·      We expect you to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
 
·      You will be responsible for store fixturing and maintenance.
·      You will play a key role in inventory management, conducting regular stock checks and assisting in replenishing merchandise as needed.
·      We expect you to communicate with partners to share assortment, allocation, and logistics feedback.
·      Share weekly/monthly product focuses and goals and provide the team with the actions needed to achieve the desired results.
·              We expect you to effectively communicate and train store associates on visual merchandising techniques, ensuring that they understand and implement our brand standards consistently.
·              You are charged with being the in-store product expert; training Team Members on product knowledge, new launch information, and design inspiration.
 
Requirements
 
·      You must have strong visual merchandising skills to create impactful and visually appealing store displays.
·      We expect you to have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all products are presented in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner.
·      You should possess excellent product knowledge, allowing you to assist customers with their inquiries and provide accurate information.
·      We require you to be proactive in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the store leader to ensure optimal stock availability.
·      You must be able to effectively communicate with team members, providing clear instructions and guidance to promote a cohesive working environment.
·      We value your ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, enabling you to make informed decisions regarding product placement and promotions.
·      You should demonstrate strong leadership skills by motivating and coaching the sales team to achieve individual and store targets.
·      We expect you to prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
