Assistant, Repertoire and Claims - Kollective Neighbouring Rights

Kollective Neighbouring Rights is seeking an organised and motivated individual to help manage our performer clients repertoire. 

The role predominately involves researching and creating detailed, accurate discographies for new performer clients as well as making sure there’s completeness and accuracy of current artist discographies. You will work closely with the other Neighbouring Rights teams to ensure that repertoire registrations and claims are up to date at the collection societies, enabling us to quickly collect and distribute monies received.

The successful candidate will be detail-orientated and have the ability to track and monitor multiple processes in an efficient manner.  Most importantly, you will be great at administration along with having a passion for music and data.

What you'll do:

  • Research, create and maintain accurate performer recording data following defined guidelines for a roster of low priority clients
  • Review incoming royalties and ensuring accurate matches to our internal database
  • Data manipulation and population of client or data provider supplied information
  • Accurate filing of release evidence
  • Maintain internal and external databases ensuring our clients repertoire data is registered accurately at the CMO’s
  • Provide timely updates of client repertoire progress across NR teams
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of society issues, qualification criteria and policies as well as current industry news

 Who you are:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel.  Google Suite Experience an advantage
  • Ability to work independently, prioritising work and juggling different tasks in line with internal SLA’s
  • Flexible with Proactive willingness to learn
  • Approachable team player
  • Music fan
