Assistant QA Engineer for Galileo [25046]

The area of responsibility is divided in detail as follows:

• Ensuring conformity of AIT operations within the cleanroom in accordance with plans, processes and procedures for the satellites, instruments and ground support equipment and approved quality standards; 
• Responsibility and accountability for the correct "as built as design";
• Carrying out design and integrity verification inspections on flight hardware and test rigs according to Airbus D&S inspection criteria to ensure that the build conforms to established design and quality rules;
• Identification and recording of nonconformities;
• Carrying out QVP verifications according to the instructions of the AIT Quality Assurance Group;
• Support AIT QA in KIP activities throughout the payload assembly and test lifecycle as defined in the AIT schedule.

Additional tasks:

• Support with specific operational tasks such as critical movements, activities in the Ready for Test process and flight packaging;
• Promote occupational safety and the 5S culture in the cleanroom. Monitor operators and visitors according to the guidelines;
• If necessary, carrying out documentation checks, completing paperwork and approving rework; 
• Inspection and maintenance of quarantined equipment, accountability or box with red and green labels and payload protection material;
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with FOD/DIM procedures;
• Accompanying the satellites to test and launch campaigns;
• In addition to the tasks in the project, regular participation in the department meetings and the
  SQCDs.

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical or comparable;
• At least vocational training with over 3 years of professional experience;
• Good aerospace knowledge or good quality assurance knowledge from the automotive sector;
• MS-Office knowledge;
• SAP knowledge;
• Google Suite knowledge is required;
• German language skills
