Assistant Project Manager

We represent over 50 companies that provide quality process equipment. MISCOwater is hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Irvine, CA. The Assistant Project Manager will assist the team with all administrative duties, planning, and coordination on assigned projects to help ensure schedule, cost and budget are met. Will be required to interact professionally with owners, engineers, field staff, subcontractors, general contractors and suppliers. This position requires working on-site in our Irvine, CA office. What you will do:
  • Organize and maintain all project documentation between engineers, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors
  • Review, prepare, and submit submittals for approval by owner and engineer
  • Support team with interpretation of plans and specifications
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries and schedules
  • Review, prepare and submit RFIs for approval by owner and engineer
  • Perform all project closeout items including review and submit all equipment O&M manuals, start up schedules, and warranties.
  • Assist Project Manager with all financial documentation as relates to the project including: Change Order Requests, Change Orders, and Pay Applications
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Background/ Experience:
  • At least 2 years experience working with General Contractors building water/wastewater treatment plants
  • Knowledge of plans, specifications, and estimates as relates to the compliance for the project requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Irvine, CA
