As an Assistant to the Solar/Wind Project Manager; your main responsibilities will help to manage the pre-construction and construction of our solar & wind projects to include;
- Assist in organising, leading and ensuring effective management and administration of the Project
- Assist with coordinating the project team including external consultants, contractors, and service providers
- Assist with ensuring continuous planning and follow up of cost, time and quality & reporting on projects status to senior management
- Assist with the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and ensure HSE compliance including Project Health & safety monitoring, reporting & development, including managing planning & environmental permit conditions for the project
- Assist with ensuring internal communication, co-operation, and co-ordination between the different staff members of the Project and with other parties with interface to the Project (Region, Country and Corporate)
- Assist with ensuring efficient and regular project meetings and recording of minutes and agreed actions. This includes (but is not limited to) general internal project reporting, tracking of project spend & progress, tracking of project payments & variations and various project management documentation compilation and maintenance
- Assist with managing the tendering processes for small and large works packages
- Assist with managing the inputs from technical design team to finalize the design of the projects
- Attend site as required to ensure successful delivery.
- Assist with utilising Statkraft internal tools for payments, project tracking, safety, contract management, risk management etc
- General contribution to the competence of the construction team for wind and solar renewable energy projects in Statkraft. Contribute to the business in other areas as required i.e. looking at how the Project Delivery Unit functions and map its processes and work streams.
- Current Student of an Electrical / Engineering related college course
- Team Player
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong Interest in Renewable Energy
