We are looking to hire an Assistant Project Accountant for our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This position provides excellent customer service to existing and new customers and acts as the liaison between clients and our internal team members.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for responding to all vendor and subcontractor payment inquiries.
  • Responsible for Lien Waiver compliance on all operations jobs for the company.
  • Assisting Project Accountants with owner billing documentation preparation
  • Conducting periodic reconciliations of vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of payments.
  • Generating reports to analyze vendor payment trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
  • Reviewing vendor contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with payment terms and conditions.
  • Collaborating with purchasing and procurement teams to resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies on vendor invoices.
  • Processing job setup & owner invoice imports from external systems into ERP
  • Responsible for maintaining all owner invoicing sites with monthly billings
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
  • CMIC experience is a plus.
  • Construction Lien Waiver experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience holding similar primary responsibilities.
  • Construction accounting experience preferred.
  • Full-cycle AP experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AIA pay applications preferred.
