Overview

We’re excited to be looking for an Assistant Production Manager to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our Production Manager, Bath & Accessories, you’ll work in a collaborative environment under the Production team. In this role you’ll help oversee Brooklinen’s production across Bath + Accessories categories/suppliers. 

You’re perfect for this role if you’re eager to learn, excited to support supplier improvement, and interested in developing an understanding of product newness and inventory agility.

This role is based at our office in Dumbo, Brooklyn. We currently have a hybrid schedule of two days in-office and three days remote, which is subject to change.

What you’ll do

  • Assist in managing the purchasing and production manufacturing for Towels, Robes, Bath Rugs, Laundry, Home Fragrance and Spaces categories with suppliers & factories across 4+ countries
  • Issue purchase orders & help manage production plans of business-critical replenishment volume alongside key launches in adherence to core milestones & quality processes 
  • Drive supplier compliance to Guidelines and Corrective Action Plans, and contribute to regular reporting on problems solved & performance
  • Develop strong internal relationships with Development, Quality, Logistics, Merchandising & Planning partners to communicate PO and production changes & solve problems creatively
  • Demonstrate a high understanding of technology systems and actively uphold data integrity across Items/Product Details, Tech Packs, Purchase Orders & Vendor Details
  • Support and recommend improvements to individual & all-department processes to improve efficiency & agility without compromising quality or performance
  • Bring efficiency and proactivity to supplier relationships, forming mutually beneficial relationships to drive business impact
  • Utilize Excel to develop skills to analyze and present work across production & procurement for owned categories

  • 0-2  years of production experience

Compensation & Benefits

At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is $60K.

Beyond base salary, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbour match, have commuter benefits, and also provide a yearly product allowance. 

We have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, year-long Summer Fridays, a workday that starts at 10 am, four weeks of vacation, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
