Job Title: Assistant Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Department: Baseball Operations
Reports To: Head Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Status: Full Time
Primary Objective: The Assistant Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator will be an integral part of a dynamic team within a high-performance professional baseball environment. This role involves supporting the Head Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator in educating and mentoring affiliate staff to elevate the overall strength and conditioning program. Primary responsibilities also include overseeing, developing, and implementing rehabilitation and return-to-play programs at the Minor League Complex in Peoria, AZ. We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to build strong relationships, foster interdepartmental collaboration, and maintain consistent, effective communication. The ideal candidate will contribute to a culture of progressive thinking and innovation.
Essential Functions:

Hold the gym environment to a high standard and in line with current cultural expectations.

Create and develop program design models for use in daily preparation, lifting, and conditioning in a rehab setting.

Assist in the creation and development of player performance screens and assessments.

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly reports from Peoria complex athletes.

Communicate with Athletic Training, Rehab, PT staff daily to provide a team first approach.

Collaborate with field staff coordinators to maximize player performance.

Assist S&C Coordinator to act as a support system for the S&C coaches for questions and clarifications.

Assist S&C Coordinator to help evaluate S&C coaches, assess player progress, and ensure high quality work performance.
• Communicate with the Major League S&C Staff to maintain uniformity throughout the organization to provide a seamless transition for all return-to-play athletes under 40-man regulations.

Assist S&C Coordinator in managing MiLB budget and financial reporting.
Education and Experience:
- CSCS and RSCC certifications

Previous experience in baseball (preferred)

Previous exposure to rehab and return-to-play environment (preferred)

Physical Activities and Working Conditions:

Maximum lifting of up to 100 pounds with frequent lifting of weights up to 50 pounds; typically standing and walking for most of the day

Position will require non-traditional work schedule including evenings and weekends.

Position may require travel.
