We’re seeking an Assistant Media Project Manager to work from one of our hub locations in a remote-friendly capacity.

Job Purpose:  
Management of client media projects and process to ensure project accuracy, timeliness and client satisfaction  
Key Job Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and manage media project scope trackers
  • Develop and manage media project schedules
  • Develop and manage estimates/media authorizations
  • Manage budgets and billing
Performance Expectations:
Project Scopes
  • Define Media Project Scope in concert with Account Management
  • Clearly communicate goals, expectations, and key information to team
  • Define and evaluate project success
  • With an understanding to overall media process, identify and manage project risks
  • Work with team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Develop and communicate internal status reports and meeting notes
Project Schedules
  • Guide Account team on media process and identify steps needed to reach final deliverables
  • Maintain accurate schedule through lifecycle of project
  • Manage projects to scheduled milestones
  • Communicate schedule risks upon detection and work with team to mitigate
  • Clearly communicate key project miles stones to all team members
Estimates
  • Utilize existing data where possible to inform project estimates
  • Develop estimate templates based on common project scopes
  • Effectively manage scope creep by issuing change controls
  • Communicate estimate risk upon detection and work with team to mitigate
  • Proactively predict potential risks based on media processes and how it will affect estimates creation
Budgets and Billing
  • Billing liaison: Responsible for budget management, weekly billing meetings, and follow up w/ Client Leadership teams regarding outstanding financial issues.
Skill Sets Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field
  • Experience in Media, vendor management and managing media campaigns is preferred
  • 1-2 years of marketing or advertising experience, agency experience preferred
  • Interest in the Project Management discipline
  • Strong background in digital media including custom website page development, native advertising, digital display ads, programmatic, search, email, and social media
  • Understanding of ad tagging, ads verification and digital ads trafficking is a plus
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines, multitask and work well under pressure
  • Detail orientation and ability to ensure that projects are developed in line with client’s brand style and guidelines
  • Proactive nature in the seeking of work/responsibility
  • Dependability in execution of work and as member of assigned team
  • Enthusiastic, solution-oriented attitude in accepting work/new challenges
  • Desire to learn all aspects of the assigned client scope of work and tactics; digital knowledge (banner ads, etc.) is a plus
  • Effective interpersonal skills working well across functions
  • Conscientious work ethic

The base salary for this position may range from $40,000 to $52,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
