Job Summary
RPA is seeking an Assistant Media Planner to join the Red Lobster and Pocky Media Planning Team. You'll assist the Media Strategy team with the development and maintenance of national and regional media plans which include all media channels: National TV, OOH, In-Store, and Digital, giving you vast exposure to a career in media planning. This is an entry level role and does not require a college degree. Internship experience is preferred, but not required. This role is open to considering remote and hybrid applicants.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Flowchart maintenance and upkeep (Mediatools)
- Organization of internal files, record keeping
- Develop POVs for various media opportunities
- Pull and analyze competitive and target audience data to support media plan development
- Attend meetings and provide post-meeting recaps (some will be client facing)
- Help maintain team status report
- Help build PowerPoint decks to support various initiatives
- Utilize media planning tools to run reports (such as reach and frequency)
- Help maintain budget tracking documents with oversight from Media Supervisor
How You’ll Excel In Your Role
- Proficiency with Excel (including use of formulas), PowerPoint and Word
- Being comfortable with numbers and basic math skills
- Previous exposure to the media planning process and/or media resources via coursework or internship is a plus, but not required
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organization skills and time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on numerous assignments simultaneously and shift gears quickly
- Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically and problem solve
- Enthusiasm for media and a drive to learn
Pay
$20/hr - non negotiable - equivalent: $36,400 gross yr.
