What You’ll Be Helping Achieve

RPA is seeking an Assistant Media Planner to join the Media Strategy Team to support our Honda Dealer Ad Association Team. The candidate will help develop, implement and optimize media campaigns for various Honda model launches. This position will work with multi-media platforms across broadcast, digital, out-of-home, radio and print. The Assistant Media Planner will work closely with the Media Planner and Supervisors on day-to-day account management and plan development. The candidate must be detail-oriented, excellent organization/multi-tasking skills, resourceful, great communication skills, thrive in a fast paced environment and be a team player. 

This is an entry level position and does not require a college degree.

Job Summary

RPA is on the search for an Assistant Media Planner to assist the Media Strategy, DAA team with the development and maintenance of campaigns for multiple Honda and Acura Dealer Associations across the U.S. Primary responsibilities include implementation of campaign activity across a variety of media including local TV, local radio, digital, streaming video and audio, and out-of-home, compiling reporting for digital campaign analysis and optimization, and monitoring digital vendor payments. MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency are mandatory. Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational and communication skills. Previous exposure to the media planning process or media resources (such as DCM, Prisma/Media Ocean, eTelmar, Media Tools, Lumina) via coursework or internship is a plus.

This is an entry level position and does not require a college degree. This role is remote, but ideal candidates would be based out of Los Angeles, County.

What You’ll Be Working On 

  • Campaign execution and optimization 
  • Digital campaign monitoring and reporting 
  • Vendor payment management
  • Internal meetings with team and other agency departments to review procedures; vendor meetings
  • Maintain team status report

How You’ll Excel In Your Role 

  • Proficiency with Excel (including use of formulas), PowerPoint and Word.
  • Be comfortable with using both your left and right brain.
  • Strong communication with the ability to mange up.
  • You have endless curiosity and love to understand the "Why."
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and organized.
  • Previous exposure to the media planning process or media resources (such as DCM, comScore, Prisma/Media Ocean, eTelmar, Media Tools) via coursework or internship is a plus.

Pay

$20/hr - non negotiable - equivalent: $36,400 gross yr.
