JOB TITLE: Assistant M&E Project Manager
LOCATIONS: TFL London Underground Estate
HOURS: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
SALARY: £32,000 per annum
ROLE OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the Mechanical and Electrical Project Managers in the day to day running of the additional works team on the TFL M&E contract.
- Work as part of a team to deliver projects on budget including the costing, selling and delivering of projects across the TFL estate
- Ensure all projects are executed in strict accordance with company policies and procedures and in addition with all national codes and any relevant technical or legislative standards
- Compilation of Health & Safety requirements for sites, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements and the execution of these procedures by approved sub-contractors / direct labour
- Ensuring cost effective purchasing and delivery scheduling for materials, labour and/or equipment to site, all in accordance with the ethical codes of purchasing
- Maximize the profitable and timely execution of all projects
- Maintain all contract documentation in an efficient manner and in compliance with company policies/procedures
- Promote other cross selling opportunities associated with the other parts of company
- Ensure client satisfaction at all times within projects both during and after execution
- To inform line manager of any issues, which may be causing problems on site and may delay the completion of the contract or jeopardize the satisfaction of the customer
- Compile reports and information sheets according to the company’s quality System, for purposes of conveying information regarding the quality and performance of individual installations
- Scope, cost and running projects within your designated sector
- The financial stability of the project
- Uphold and promote the good name of the company at all times
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 2 years FM project experience
• Knowledge around health and safety
• Good communication skills
• Good timekeeping and organisation skills
DESIRABLE:
• Knowledge and use of computer software – Microsoft Office, Building Management Systems
