As a key member of our newly launched Live Commerce team, you will play a pivotal role in building an intelligent Consumer Engagement and retention engine. The vision of our team is to enable creators/influencers to give customers an immersive and trustworthy shopping experience through live streaming.
But we are not all work and no play – from weekly “no shop talk” team calls to board game nights, every team has its own fun rituals. As one of the first members of the Live Commerce team, you will help build such rituals and play an intrinsic role in building the team’s culture.
About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you will work directly with team’s leaders to help solve user lifecycle management problems. You will identify key pain points as well as solutions related to new user activation and habit formation and eventually retention.
With complete autonomy over the implementation of all your projects, you will help Meesho explore uncharted territories with Live Commerce. You will make sure that users on the platform get redirected to experience the live stream module within Meesho’s platform. From giving new users a reason to come back again, to ensuring existing users stay, your role will have a huge impact on our business.
What you will do
- Own and deliver projects to our product experience for new users.
- Identify and prioritise areas of improvement through consumer research and data analysis.
- Optimise functions such as new user onboarding & shopping experience, in-app communications, and in-app motivation features.
- Finalise feature design with our in-house project team based on qualitative and quantitative analyses.
- Manage feature implementation, and analyse the impact of product changes.
- Own and deliver projects related to off-app communications and remarket towards new users.
- Define communication channels, consumer segments, communication triggers and actions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes in our communications strategy.
- Perform ongoing pilots and impact evaluation to support decision making.
- Own and deliver projects related to user incentives directed towards new users.
- Define the overall framework for discounting.
- Experiment with new discount frameworks.
- Monitor and own key metrics pertaining to new user activation and habit formation and retention.
What you will need
- Minimum 2 years of total work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in consulting with reputed firms.
- Experience in startups/tech companies in similar roles preferred.
- Proven leadership and organisational skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong track record with proven growth in your current organisation.
