Overall objective

The Assistant manager/ Lead for PEX supports 6 sigma or Process improvement initiatives across BU and departments and is a champion and catalyst for all process standardization, optimization, simplification and automation opportunities. The PEX lead is responsible for improving efficiencies and experience for both internal teams and external clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and run process optimization and efficiency improvements projects
  • Develop and implement data quality and governance standards.
  • Be an advocate for PEX and Innovation across BU and departments
  • Continuously monitor and refine data processes to enhance reliability and accuracy
  • Should improve efficiencies and experience using PEX/LSS/DMAIC tools and methodologies for both external clients and stakeholders.

Experience

  • 4-6 years of global work experience within Tech, Media, Telecom sector, involved in driving PEX and 6 sigma projects across tech and ops teams in a distributed offshore-onshore setup.
  • Experience in identification and running Black Belt or Green belt projects
  • Should be a certified Black Belt or Green Belt
  • Deep understanding of shared services operations, with experience leading 6 sigma or LSS projects
  • Should be adept with using google sheets, tableau, BI, defining metrics, and business spec documents
  • Experience in tracking metrics, KPIs, managing budgets, and financial reporting for transitions and process migrations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting culturally diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Exposure to consumer data measurement, research, analytics, and content management within the media industry (TV, OTT) preferred.
  • Strong command over program management skills including project planning, resource allocation, risk/time/scope management, stakeholder engagement, and ability to deploy agile and waterfall methodologies requirement.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigate through ambiguity while maintaining focus on key objectives.
  • Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of working collaboratively across departments and geographies to achieve common goals.

Educational Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree (MBA or M.Tech) preferred.
  • Mandatory - 6 sigma BB or GB certified
