Job Summary:
An Assistant Manager Finance is an associate at Creative Chaos who is mainly responsible for overseeing the financial health of an organization and helping ensure its continued viability. They supervise important functions, such as monitoring cash flow, determining profitability, managing expenses, and producing accurate financial information.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan a strategic and long-term business plan in support of the financial manager and the management.
- Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and other support for meetings with management
- Review and analysis of financial statements and metrics
- Help prepare consolidated financial reporting journal entries and deliverables on a periodic, quarterly, and annual basis
- Perform analysis, make recommendations, and participate in discussions pertaining to consolidation and reporting matters
- Identify process improvements and lead several efficiency projects
- Support decisions with financial information and analysis
- Participate in other projects and ad-hoc analyses and reports
- Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met
- Assist with month-end closing of books
- Create revenue recognition rules according to ASC 606
- Assist with designing a functional chart of accounts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Preferably ACCA and related academics. Additional certifications are a plus (CPA, CFA, CMA).
- Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience preferably in a technology firm.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and other ERPs are preferred.
- Experience with Taxation including (corporate tax, withholding tax filling, sale tax, and income tax)
- Experience with petty cash handling (petty cash vouching verification)
- Candidate must have exceptional Team Management skills.
- Should be an expert in using Excel and using complex formulas.
- Should have knowledge of regulatory compliances ( SECP, SRB, FBR, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Should be able to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Must have knowledge of US taxes and accounting
- Experience with technology companies/US firms will be preferred.
