Assistant Director of Human Resources | AYANA MidPlaza, JAKARTA

As the Assistant Director of Human Resources at AYANA MidPlaza, Jakarta, you will play a critical role in the management and coordination of all Human Resources activities within the hotel. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of budgets, benefits, wages, labor and employee relations, and training programs.

In this role, you will work closely with department heads and managers to implement effective recruiting and screening procedures, ensuring the selection of the most qualified candidates for open positions. You will also support department heads in employee orientation, training, and development, as well as performance evaluation.

As part of the leadership team, you will ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and employment practices. You will also be responsible for maintaining employee records, legal documents, policies, and procedures. Staying updated on labor trends, social legislation, and any changes that may impact the organization will be crucial.

In addition to your HR responsibilities, you will also be involved in overseeing employee facilities, coordinating employee social and recreational activities, and implementing employee relations and motivation programs. Effective communication throughout the organization is important, and you will play a key role in disseminating information on employer-employee relations, employee activities, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or senior managerial role with extensive knowledge of labor law and employment regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills, with knowledge of additional languages considered a plus.
  • Ability to lead and direct a diverse team of Human Resources professionals.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computerized communication and record-keeping programs.
  • Professional HR certifications are a plus.
