ROLE OVERVIEW

The Assistant Designer, NOVAMEN will develop silhouettes each season under the supervision of the Designer. Ensure that all information related to the development of each style is followed through, communicated and maintained in the internal system in a timely and organized manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create new development tech packs in PLM with attention to details
• Assist in new projects as dictated by the business, cad, tech packs revisions,
• Create|update presentation line sheets
• Partner with Designer in the seasonal creation process, taking ownership
• along the way and bringing new ideas and inspirations to the business
• Collaborate Design, Product Development & Production in its day to day
• tasks while maintaining high level of organization
• Assist in the research and identify current trends and compiling results in various
• presentation formats and tools to drive creative direction
• Possess a great eye working with colors, fabrics, and trims in AI and PS: recoloring, editing,
• sizing, and placing on garments

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of two years of experience in men’s apparel design
• Excited to take the lead and ownership and bring ideas to the table
• Strong sense and understanding of apparel construction, design process, fabric,
• color, trend and embellishment
• Firm knowledge of illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
• Excellent with cad sketching, cad presentations, and navigating through
• illustrator, photoshop, PLM, Excel
• Organized and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• AA|AS degree or equivalent working experience
• English, additional language(s) an advantage
• Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
