Assistant Branch Merchandiser

OVERVIEW:

As our Assistant Branch Merchandiser, you will support the Branch Merchandiser in ensuring our customers can purchase what they want in our stores in the size and colour they require. Supporting in managing in season stock for the international retail business, maintaining availability to the highest possible standards. Understanding the planned inventory strategy for the international retail business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Allocation of NPD stock to store & consequent regular replenishment for all international retail stores
• Monitoring lateness of NPD & informing Branch Merchandiser
• Contributing to regular maintenance of mins & max - particularly focussed on destinations
• Tracking & maintain branch option counts / space requirements / destination areas
• Preparing for regular meetings with VM / Planning for latest space plans
• Monitoring new store opening package delivery schedule & deliver ringfencing of opening package stock
• Pull together data & key facts to inform the international merch planning lessons learnt process with any key branch learnings
• Managing in / out of lifecycle stock, actioning recalls where necessary
• Maintain any dual site or destination area stocks
• Support the trade link between international merch planning & central retail team
• Maintaining accuracy of retail stock lifecycle in the GLC
• Push stock twice weekly & support the review of assortment tweaks
• Maintain accuracy of A&R tool
• Collate feedback from stores to support weekly actions

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

• Experience operating Allocation & Replenishment tool & weekly sales reporting
• Strong numerically with a commercial mindset
• An analytical problem solver
• Intermediate skills in Excel and building PowerPoint Decks
• Clear and concise presentation skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and time management
• Some experience working within an apparel/fashion based merchandising team
• Able to work alone towards your personal objectives, but also as a team towards the larger team objectives
• Comfortable dealing with large excel spreadsheets, summarising information and pulling out the key takeaways and recommendations.

WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:

• Advanced excel training or experience

This is a hybrid role, you are able to work from; GSIQ (Solihull) or London HQ (165 Regent St, London).

We would require the successful candidate to attend either a minimum of 3 days a week depending on demand/need.
