Contract/ Stakeholder management
- Support in managing Statkraft UK Grid assets.
- Work closely with wider asset management team, operations, asset owners and other internal Business Areas to align objectives and optimise performance of the projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure HSE standards, compliance and meet contractual obligations.
- Supporting warranty contract management and claim management matters.
- Drive the business towards improved performance and to ensure Statkraft’s interests are protected.
Technical/ Reporting
- Oversee the performance of the projects, identifying, evaluating, and proposing opportunities for performance improvements.
- Work closely with Analysis (NTDA), Operations (ENO) and Finance (EFN) teams, and external contractors (e.g. Manufacturers) to secure reporting obligations to asset owner.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting obligations. Provide insights on operational performance, project risks (risk assessment) and HSE.
- Co-ordination, review and management of O&M reports.
- Contribute on development of Power BI reports for the business.
- Contribute in Prepare for Operations (PfO) forums as Grid pipeline develops into Operational phase. Act as representative of operational projects to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Interfacing with technicians, contractors and DSOs/TSOs as required to drive issues resolution.
Engineering
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure optimal operation and maintenance.
- Participate or lead projects to investigate RCA of performance issues, resolve defects, equipment failures and incidents on site to minimise downtime.
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, electrical or other relevant engineering discipline, with experience in the industry.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of energy storage systems.
- Good understanding of the grid network, electrical design, and regulatory framework.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills (English). Other language is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate/participate in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Sharp analytical skills and ability to understand the technical implications and translate complex technical problems clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Professional, self-motivated and diligent attitude.
- Problem-solver with ability to identify solutions and the drive to implement them.
- Strong project management skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines on simultaneous assignments.
