It is essential that you:
- Have a well developed understanding of the ISM and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and an ability to get across the DSPF. It is desirable that you have previous experience with the DSPF.
- Understand technical documentation and provide technically sound advice on technical matters raised. It is desirable that you have some experience working with cloud-hosted services, on-premise environments and or Defence networks.
- Manage the requirements of your two key stakeholders:
- DCIAB who owns and administers the assessment process, and to whom you will report your findings and recommendations for assessment outcomes.
- The customer, who will set your priorities, manage your contract from a Defence perspective and provide access to the resources required for you to complete your job.
- Have experience and industry-recognised certifications in delivering IT security-based audits. It is desirable that you have an Info-sec Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) certification.
- Sufficient interpersonal skills to engage with a wide variety of people and communicate your requirements, findings and assessment progress.
- Hold a minimum of an NV1 clearance and are comfortable completing a DISA. Holding a TSPV is highly desirable.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to hold a current NV1 or TSPV security clearance. Successful candidates will also be required to undergo an organisational suitability assessment
