YOUR TEAM
As an Artificial intelligence specialist, your mission is to encourage the adoption of new artificial intelligence tools across Moment Factory. You will primarily collaborate with the CTO, IT, the AI committee, the MF school (the department responsible for training employees at the Factory), the innovation department, and various specialists internally. Your role involves working with departments, the Center of Expertise, and Units to assess and meet their needs when it comes to using artificial intelligence tools, supporting them, and being a dedicated and available reference point to evolve the practices of different business communities.
YOUR MISSION
You have the responsibility to act as the technical leader for implementing AI practices at Moment Factory. You will influence the lifecycle of applications throughout their planning, development, delivery, and operation phases. During the production and continuity of AI-related initiatives, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, architecture, integrating, and configuring environments where AI can be used for various Factory teams.
As part of your tasks and your relationship with different departments, you are constantly seeking to improve our working methods and knowledge transfer and to propose the most relevant approaches for the company. You are responsible for supporting projects in the Tooling, Innovation, and MF School departments by participating in the analysis and prioritization of new practices to promote within the organization, evolving work processes, as well as the technical and logistical needs necessary to fulfill requests. In the longer term, you act as a driver of technological transformation and innovation within Moment Factory, playing a crucial role in the evolution of the company's practices and technologies.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Being a central resource for the Factory:
- Organizing roundtable discussions;
- Assisting, training, and mentoring;
- Facilitating AI workshops with the support of internal experts;
- Adapting professional expertise based on various needs at Moment Factory and the evolution of technology in the immersive entertainment sector.
Support for the Center of Expertise, Units, and Administrative Services:
- Receiving and tracking requests;
- Facilitating access to information;
- Creating presentations for different target audiences;
- Assisting interested individuals in mastering tools.
Prioritizing and centralizing activities related to artificial intelligence adoption:
- Weekly meetings of the AI Committee;
- Monitoring and keeping track of conferences, training, and communities in Montreal, Quebec, and internationally;
- Monitoring daily AI activities of the tool team;
- Monitoring transformative AI activities of the innovation team;
- Synchronizing topics, needs, and training with the MF school;
- Distributing and prioritizing tasks among different stakeholders;
- Monitoring the needs, questions, and activities of practice communities;
- Ensuring follow-ups between the internal team and various external providers on ongoing projects.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Planning tests to validate the solution and implementation;
- Deployment and support of AI solutions for all departments of the Factory;
- Monitoring and analyzing issues and resolving bugs;
- Automating workflows, including training, deployment, and monitoring of AI models.
- Ensuring the quality and security of data used for AI models.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and adoption of best practices in terms of rights and security, in connection with legal requirements;
- Technological watch and research;
- Technical documentation such as solution architecture, operations.
YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES
- A college diploma (DEC) in Multimedia Integration, or equivalent;
- Ability to be a technical leader in your field, sharing your knowledge;
- Basic knowledge of Python: Ability to understand and write Python code, essential for interacting with common AI tools and customizing solutions;
- Understanding of APIs: Knowledge of application programming interfaces, enabling the integration and effective use of AI services and tools;
- Fundamentals of AI application deployment: Ability to deploy AI applications, understanding the technical aspects and best practices;
- Creation of AI models: Ability to understand and implement the AI model training process, essential for developing customized solutions;
- Fundamentals of Natural Language Processing (NLP): Understanding key concepts such as embedding and tokenization, crucial for the development and use of AI tools in language processing;
- Awareness of ethical and privacy issues in AI: Awareness of ethical and privacy implications related to the use of AI, as well as awareness of legal and ethical aspects related to the use of artificial intelligence in artistic creation;
- Understanding of AI-assisted image and art generation tools: Knowledge of the operating principles, possibilities, and limitations of these tools, enabling their effective application in creative and multimedia projects;
- Knowledge of IT management methods such as ITIL and Agile;
- You have participated in the design and deployment of solutions from inception to final project delivery;
- A professional functional mastery of French and English, both orally and in writing.
