Job Overview:
The Frontline Art Director is a highly skilled visionary who produces captivating and cohesive visual assets across all channels and is responsible for guiding the overall look, feel, and style of our brands, from concept to final execution. They collaborate closely with an in-house art department on the monthly desktop publishing production of journals and newspapers, supplements, event materials, sales presentations, banner advertising, trade and house ads, infographics, digital products, html newsletters, media kits and other promotional material, from imposition to pre-press.

Standards of the Position:
Develop and implement a visual strategy that aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives.
Maintain consistency in style, quality, and messaging across all visual communications.
Create page layouts using Adobe InDesign, integrating Word and InCopy articles with visual resources to enhance story value and support editorial message while meeting production deadlines.
Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and other teams to create cohesive, multi-channel campaigns.
Oversee the execution of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Create infographics, charts, graphs, and tables using various software packages for print, web, and social media.
Design supplemental and promotional material.
Research and acquire images for both web and print, color-correcting as needed.
Design website banner advertising and html newsletters.
Aid sales representatives to create presentations and booth advertising.
Work in a collaborative environment with other Art Directors and graphic designers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, visual arts, or a related field or equivalent background.
5+ years of experience in a creative role.
Skills:
Mastery in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, InCopy, Acrobat).
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Understanding of html.
This position requires excellent written and oral communications skills, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines with a variety of editors.
