Qualis LLC is seeking a Mission Engineer to support the Human Machine Integrated Formations Project Office. The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT within 27 months. This Mission Engineer will collaborate with system users, requirements owners, and developmental contractors to translate operational mission requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements to support the prototyping of the HMIF Armor and Infantry BCT formations. They will serve as the bridge between the HMIF pilot and the operational requirements.

Requirements
Required Skills:
· Hands-on experience applying systems engineering and integration principles across both hardware and software systems.
· Experience with DoD acquisition process, authoring DoD acquisition documentation including systems engineering plans and Performance Based Specifications
· Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Power Point, Excel, knowledgeable in MS Project, produce briefing materials as required to support Mission Engineering requirements
Required Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field
· 4 years of relevant systems engineering experience
· Experience in DoD acquisition programs. Army experience preferred.
· Experience with evaluating projects using different methods and options to determine the most cost-effective solution that meets the required specifications
Desired Qualifications:
· Recent engineering experience with platforms and C4ISR systems
· Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes
· Superior writing skill inclusive of developing technical system-level specifications
· Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders
· Ability to work on multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required
