Who You'll Work With
The Arista Industry Readiness Programme is an industry-first programme that gives you the unique opportunity to intern in a hands-on learning based programme that lasts 5-6 months and is run annually out of our Sydney office.
Over the course of these months, you will learn, practice, test and be tested of various networking technologies starting from the absolute basics to complex networking technologies.
What You'll Do
Program Summary:
Objective: To prepare early career network engineers for the Cloud Networking Industry
Approach:
Program outline
Phase 1: Strong foundation in networking protocols and technologies.
Exposure to the basics of networking from the scratch
Involves refresh, unlearning, if required and re-learning
In-depth understanding of the basic and foundational technologies:
Layers of Networking, Transceivers & Cables, ARP, MAC, IP addressing
L2 Technologies: Switching Fundamentals, STP, LACP, LLDP
L3 Technologies: Routing Fundamentals, RIP, OSPF
Practical approach and hands on lab
Dedicated static lab topology - lab work
Develop in-depth understanding by taking packet captures and wireshark analysis
Phase 2: Introduction to Arista platforms. Deeper dive into industry trends and technological advancements
