Position Summary:
Responsible for the order intake and Sales of PHARMA Packaging machinery over an assigned territory within the Middle East Region. Actively becoming the main contact person for all PHARMA customers within the region of focus, establishing long-term partnerships based on success and trust.
Developing initiatives that maximize sales activities, while ensuring proper coordination during the whole project execution timeline beginning with securing the deal itself, all the way through kick-off meetings, manufacturing stages, final delivery, startup and validation at the customer site.
Essential Functions:
- Customer visits within the assigned region to bring new leads and opportunities.
- Developing good technical knowledge about the company’s portfolio enabling effective contribution in customer meetings and technical discussions with the plants
- Create a development strategy within the area of focus in coordination with the Syntegon Plants
- Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve targets and profit goals
- Clear Focus on enriching the pipeline and development of new clients
- Assuring customer satisfaction which leads to repeat orders
- Support in contract negotiations
- Market analysis to define potential new customers and new application areas
- Monitoring of market trends and competitors within the assigned region
- Discussing commercial terms with clients and following up on open payments.
- Coordinating all activities between the client and the concerned Manufacturing sites
- Participation at trade fairs and important PHARMA Packaging exhibitions (regional and international)
- Preparing reports on all sales activities in a timely manner
- Maintaining the CRM and project lists up to date
Competencies Required:
- Proven track record (>5 years)
- Personal sales experience within the Equipment in General / Packaging Machinery Sector (preferably in PHARMA Processing and Packaging)
- Well connected and sales-experienced within the PHARMA Production & Packaging Industry
- Middle East Customer Experience
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent customer management skills, strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
