About the Role:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing and selling our substrates in the DACH region and beyond. Based in Nordhorn, Germany, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, building and maintaining a professional network within the professional horticulture market.

In this challenging and rewarding role, your focus will be on both nurturing existing customer relationships and acquiring new ones. Your expertise will help our target audience—growers and distributors—find the perfect substrates tailored to their unique cultivation needs. You'll independently represent our products and convert opportunities into successes while collaborating closely with colleagues in product management, sales, customer service, and marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of substrates within the professional horticulture market.
  • Enhance Kekkilä-BVB’s brand presence and market position in the region.
  • Lead the sales function for Kekkilä-BVB in Germany by creating and executing strategic sales plans that meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Identify and manage new customer acquisition opportunities from start to finish.
  • Build and maintain strong, sustainable customer relationships.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to support planning and strategic direction.
  • Ensure customer data is accurately maintained and updated.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product management teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and market strategies.
  • Share insights with other sales teams to identify key customer leads, market trends, and process improvements.
