As our Architect, Backend Technology, you will... 

Be Accountable and Responsible 

  • Work with clients and internal teams to implement high-quality products that meet business goals. 
  • Lead technical design, development, implementation, and maintenance of applications and back-end services 
  • Provide technical guidance for other engineers, ensuring adherence to system architecture and quality of delivery. 
  • Able to select, specify, and advocate for a technology stack/solution and influence client technology leadership based on recommendations. 
  • Display solid software engineering methodology with informed opinions about testing, code quality, and the ability to make sound quality/speed trade-offs. 
  • Able to lead the diagnosing and troubleshooting of issues that span across multiple systems, teams, and vendors. 
  • Able to set up and manage a complete development environment, including environment set-up, builds, deployment, source control, and continuous integration. 
  • Passion for writing code in addition to handling code branching and merging, with knowledge of applications performance improvement techniques and caching solutions. ● Consistently contribute the highest quality work while helping to foster a healthy and energizing work environment for the broader team. 

These are the qualifications we’re looking for 

  • BA/BS degree in computer science or equivalent work experience 
  • 5-7 years’ experience in code review, process management, and team leadership ● Experience with Agile methodology 
  • 5-7 years’ experience in enterprise technology applications architecture, design & development using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and other JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Node, etc.) 
  • Experience in SQL, HTML, and CSS 
  • 2-4 years’ Sitecore DXP experience required (Minimum version of 8, but prefer 9 or 10)
  • REST API and Web Service knowledge a plus 
  • Proven ability to lead client discussions on architecture 
  • Experience with developing headless applications using Sitecore JSS is a plus
  • Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud is a plus 
  • Experience within an advertising agency or similar environment is a plus

The salary range for this role is $94,000 - $121,000 based on individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
