Aprio is seeking a talented Web Editor to join our team to contribute to the ongoing enhancement and improvement of our WordPress based website. The role will be responsible for the creation of article postings, the maintenance of current pages, and assisting in various tasks for our company website. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of the current WordPress environment and a creative eye for detail.
Position Responsibilities:
- Post and edit daily Aprio Insights consisting of articles, events, videos, podcasts and employee biographies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the publishing of new landing pages and perform routine maintenance of existing pages: content edits, image creation, embedding video, etc.
- Audit and maintain the accuracy and style of existing content.
- Assist in the optimization of website performance and troubleshoot page and/or coding issues efficiently.
- Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies, industry trends, and best web practices.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Web Editor or a similar role within the WordPress environment as well as strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Ability to build and maintain WordPress posts and pages with relevant plugins including Beaver Builder page builder, Block Editor, and UberMenu.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with graphics software including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to overcome and discuss technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently to consistently hit daily deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Conductor, Google Search Console).
- Understanding of current SEO concepts and Google Analytics (GA4 and Tag Manager).
