Aprio is seeking a highly skilled Senior Website Content Writer to join our team and create compelling, informative, and engaging content for our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the U.S. accounting industry, excellent writing and editing skills, and a passion for crafting content that resonates with our target audience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality website copy: Create engaging and informative content for various website pages, including service and industry pages, blog posts, and landing pages.
  • Conduct SME interviews: Interview subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Edit and proofread: Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets high-quality standards.
  • Manage content projects: Manage content projects from start to finish, including planning, writing, editing, and publishing.
  • Write in accordance with AP Style standards: Adhere to AP Style standards for grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Follow brand guidelines: Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand guidelines.
  • Meet tight deadlines: Consistently deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines, often turning around writing assignments within 3-5 business days or less.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a content writer or copywriter.
  • Proven experience writing technical content for the accounting industry.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews and gather information from subject matter experts.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with AP Style standards.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Amenable to work in Graveyard Shift (Eastern time)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a B2B / professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or other website analytics tools.
