Role
Reporting to a Project Manager and trainee to an experienced Mechanical Fitter, you will complement our expert resources to assist in the successful assembly of automation equipment, whilst engaging in a Mechatronics or Manufacturing based study programme at a local college, on either day release or block placement, leading to a recognised NVQ Level 2 qualification.
About You
Demonstrating dexterity, numeracy and attention to detail, you will have attained GCSE's in mathematics and English and have an aptitude for engineering, mechanics or fabrication. You may perhaps have spent some time working in or have experience of a similar industrial or commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
Install, modify, maintain and repair a variety of mechanical systems and associated automation equipment
Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS)
Observe work rotas and completion of assigned tasks
Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated
Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, college tutors and other third parties
