Overview
A leading international school in Hong Kong is seeking an Applications Manager to join its expanding IT team. This role will work collaboratively with stakeholders to align technology solutions with the institution's goals. Reporting directly to the IT Director, this position is crucial for driving technological advancements in the institution.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage entire information system application lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
- Lead data services team in resolving application issues and provide technical support
- Create insightful dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate with stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize application performance and user experience
- Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for all levels of stakeholders
- Collaborate with vendors, IT staff, and stakeholders to address complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and supporting managed information systems within educational institutions, with a preference for iSAMS experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of application integration, system architecture, and cloud technologies essential.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary.
- Familiarity with diverse educational systems and data privacy regulations is a big plus
