A Semiconductor Application Engineer II at INFICON is responsible for assisting with advanced applications related to INFICON sensors and software. They offer technical assistance to both field staff and customers, ensuring the correct deployment and support of INFICON products. Individuals at this level possess a deep understanding of the market's processes and challenges that the company's products address. This position requires individuals to work autonomously and be capable of independently devising and implementing solutions to issues with minimal supervision.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, experience in semiconductor manufacturing, and is able to manage and participate in programs/projects supporting INFICON customers.
Willingness to learn our industry, work with fellow team members and with clients, and adapt to changes is required.

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $70K and $115k per year with commission opportunities. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 5%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
