Today we have several ongoing projects with leading research groups and external partners, and more are yet to come. To ensure the success of our running and upcoming projects and to pursue new ideas, we are looking for an application scientist to strengthen our team in Munich.

Your responsabilities

  • Manage research projects by coordinating partners and internal resources for an effective execution.
  • Identify new sources of funding and develop a sustainable and effective funding strategy.
  • Write and review project proposals. Engage with funding agencies.
  • Provide application-specific customer support.
  • Establish new customer contacts, maintain existing relations, and secure future sales mainly related to quantum computing.

Your profile

  • Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, ideally related to quantum computing research.
  • Practical scientific lab experience. Experience in RF/microwave signal generation and measurement are a plus.
  • Passion for collaboration and successful international stakeholder management with excellent cultural sensitivity.
  • Experience in writing research proposals and research project execution.
  • Strong interest in learning about technology, applications, marketing and sales in a scientific market.

You will be part of our application scientist team and will take over project responsibility and work closely with product management and R&D. In addition, you will assume an active, technical involvement in our sales activities, where you will both learn about our market and customers and contribute to our commercial success. We're supportive of any new ideas you bring, which means you'll be able to contribute to our company’s strategy, goals, and success.
