Reporting to the Octane Onboards Support Manager, this role involves application & hardware support.  Customer support is predominantly via phone and remote connectivity.  Along with BAU support there is also direct involvement in customer rollout and upgrade projects.  The role also requires involvement in testing upgrades, new features and the latest releases liaising directly with the development team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Remote support experience in a related area
  • Exposure to ERP system support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including sound English language skills
  • An ability to quickly understand customer issues and provide fast and efficient resolution in a professional manner
  • Documentation skills
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate technical jargon into non-technical responses
  • Demonstrated proficiency using and managing MS Windows 10/11 operating systems
  • Troubleshooting external device issues connected to MS Windows devices

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Experience in supporting bespoke software
  • Experience with Remote Support applications – N-Central, TeamViewer, ConnectWise
  • Experience with MDM software for group-wide device management
