Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Apple Device Management Specialist to join our team and help us manage and support our Apple device ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging, deploying and maintaining applications using Intune and JAMf. This role requires a deep understanding of application lifecycle management, software distribution, and patch management. Key Responsibilities: Packaging: • Configure and manage JAMF Pro to enforce policies, deploy software, and create and deploy configuration profiles, scripts, and packages. • Package applications for deployment via Jamf, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. • Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and change control • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., AppleScript, Python, Bash, SH, etc..) JAMF Pro Device Management: • Deploy, configure, and manage Apple Mac devices. • Enroll devices into the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. • Update and patch operating systems and applications. • Monitor device inventory and usage to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting: • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Apple Mac hardware and software. • Provide remote and on-site support as needed. • Utilize excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address user issues promptly. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in Apple device management, MacOS, and iOS in a medium to large size organization. • 5+ years of experience with JAMF tools for MDM. • Expertise with MacOS and iOS operating systems. • Extensive experience in packaging applications for deployment via Jamf. • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification. • Experience with AppleCare+ support services. • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., AppleScript, Python). • Strong understanding of network protocols and security concepts. • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system. • Knowledge of remote access tools (VPN, LMI). • Azure and Intune experience is a plus. Skills: • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Exceptional customer service skills, especially when dealing with executive-level users. • Ability to work independently with little supervision. • Strong team player who leads by example, believes in collaboration, and works hard to communicate with team members.
