APJ Technical Sales Program Specialist

This newly created role is focused on supporting the APJ inside sales and SDR teams (as well as other sellers as needs dictate)  by providing them with the most up to date technical sales enablement programs. Heavily focused on developing and providing JIT style enablement content this role allows for both sellers with technical focus or technical sales candidates to apply. With a drive for sharing information the successful candidate would be involved in identifying, planning and delivering end user enablement activities. Working closely with the APJ marketing teams in the partner and alliances teams it requires a candidate who is as comfortable in front of customers as they are in front of salesforce looking at pipeline growth.

As part of the APJ Sales Acceleration team this role reports to the APJ Sales Acceleration Senior Director with a strong integration to the local and APJ Sales Engineering team. This role is office based 3 days a week (Tue-Thur)  as well as including some international travel to regions including India, Korea, Australia and South East Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in the creation of  focused training programs to ensure our sellers can articulate the business value of all our solutions with demonstrated technical acumen.
  • Measure the efficacy / ROI of enablement programs
  • Lead the technical components of the onboarding programs across APJ
  • Participate and contribute in all T3 (Train-the-Trainer) sessions as required and complete all necessary certifications in a timely manner. Including and not limited to sales trainings, onboarding methodologies and product/solution knowledge.
  • Plan, conduct and report on regular enablement webinar sessions for both internal and external audiences.
  • Evaluate existing  programs to ensure their quality and effectiveness
  • Communicate weekly with stakeholders from enablement team and marketing & sales stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and their adaptation into a sales environment.
  • Awareness of or experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred.
  • Awareness of or experience with collaboration tools like MS Teams, Zoom to host large webinars. Be able to provide reports around metrics such as engagement.
  • Facilitation & coaching experience.
  • Strong technical background in IT - including cloud, security and backup technologies - a Veeam portfolio knowledge is a benefit
  • Demonstrated experience in either a partner or partner ecosystem training role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven record of driving programs and projects independently with success.
  • Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
  • Strong technical proficiency and the ability to learn complex systems quickly.
  • Able to travel as needed (up to 30%) international travel.
