Role Description:
Key Skills: API Automation, Rest Assured, Java, CI/CD, Core Banking domain
Exp: 3yrs+
Location - Bangalore
Technical Requirement:
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for RESTful APIs using RestAssured. • Write detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify the functionality, reliability, and performance of APIs. • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on APIs. • Set up and manage API test environments, ensuring appropriate test data and conditions. • Identify, analyze, and document bugs, and track their resolution in collaboration with the development team. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation frameworks. • Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, or other REST API testing tools • Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on test coverage, quality, and efficiency. • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: • 3-6 years of experience in API testing, with a focus on RESTful services. • Proficient with RestAssured for API automation testing. • Strong knowledge of Java and OOP principles. • Experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing API test automation frameworks. • Familiarity with JSON, XML, and understanding of RESTful API concepts. • Experience with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar. • Strong understanding of test case design techniques, test execution, and test management processes. • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to integrate test automation. • Knowledge of version control systems like Git. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a team environment. • Experience with performance testing APIs using tools like JMeter will be preferable
