MezTal is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our finance team. The AP Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed accurately and promptly. You will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations and maintain positive relationships with our suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
- Handle payment processing, including check runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal teams regarding payments and invoices
- Maintain organized records and documentation of all accounts payable transactions
- Support the finance team with any special projects or reports as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar finance roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Advanced English ONLY
