AP / AR Accountant (Temporary position)

We are seeking an Accounts Payables / Accounts Receivables Accountant who supports the Finance team. This is a temporary position. 

Your Responsibilities

• Check and process supplier invoices, including investigation & resolution of invoice discrepancies
• Review employee expenses to ensure compliance with company policy
• Maintain system data, such as supplier and employee profiles and bank information
• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Manage supplier correspondence and internal queries
• Prepare weekly bank reconciliations and monitor receipts
• Enter customer contracts into our subscription platform Chargebee
• Reconcile cash collections to customer accounts
• Respond to customer support correspondence pertaining to invoicing
• Participate in month end closing activities including accruals and reconciliation and clearing of subledgers

What we look for in you

• Reliable personality with high attention to detail
• Being accountable and delivering results
• Communicating transparently
• Previous work experience in AP / AR
• Able to work independently whilst contributing to a remote team
• Fluent in English (C1+)

Bonus points

• Work experience in  technology or SaaS company
• Experience with SAP Business ByDesign / Chargebee
• German language skills
