Position Title:            Accounts Payable Administrator                                            

 

Location (Facility):              Headquarters                                                                           

 

Reports to (Position Title):            Accounts Payable Supervisor                                                 

 

Job Function/Purpose

Our company is currently looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Administrator to join our team. The position is tasked with processing vendor invoices on a timely basis while maintaining accuracy and ensuring compliance with payment controls.

Number of Countries served:2 Transactional (USA & Canada)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Verify completeness and accuracy of invoices received
  2. Verify vendor information, including W9s, 1099s, banking instructions, etc
  3. Key enter invoice payments following established process and audit controls
  4. Record general ledger entries for processed payments
  5. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, with internal contacts and outside vendors
  6. Assist with month-end close, including producing accurate month end accruals and completing other month end functions on time
  7. Support Accounts Payable annual controls audit
  8. Perform miscellaneous clerical or other related duties

 

 

Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes):

  1. Education/Degrees: High School diploma (prefer strong Math and Science skills)
  2. Requires: 1 to 3 years of experience
  3. Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
  4. Must have strong data entry skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to adapt to digital imaging and data transmission technologies
