Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support our media and e-commerce Android app.
- Follows best practices in software development. Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping.
- Work closely with other teams to understand their needs and develop a solution to fulfil it.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subject.
- 2 years+ working experience in Android development.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with third-party libraries, particularly open source.
- Understanding of Android UX, Material design and development best practices.
- Knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, MVVM, REST, Android Jetpack, version control, submodule.
- Experience with CICD, UI testing, automated testing will be a plus.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Familiarity working with Cloud-based technologies, preferably Firebase.
- Supporting and advising product managers about technical decisions and their impact.
- Pro-active and self-disciplined.
