The Opportunity

We are looking for a part-time or contract Anatomist and Radiology Ground Truth Annotator to join our dynamic Computer Vision Team in Vancouver. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and performing tasks related to labeling of MRI data, and ensuring the accuracy of ground truth data for AI models, particularly in the realm of radiology. There is a preference for this candidate to be based in Vancouver to work in an on site or hybrid setting. This will be a contract position with project work of up to 15-40 hours per week over the duration of this project.

What You’ll Do

  • Label MRI images for different anatomical tissues and organs in different MR sequences
  • Coordinate and oversee the labeling process for medical images within the Computer Vision Team, emphasizing ground truth accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with the radiology team to understand the complexities of medical images and ensure precise labeling
  • Identify and address discrepancies and inconsistencies in labeled data, providing valuable feedback for improved accuracy
  • Assist in developing and updating labeling guidelines, emphasizing the importance of ground truth for AI model training
  • Implement and manage quality control measures to ensure the reliability of labeled data, particularly in the context of radiology
  • Collaborating closely with the regulatory team to prepare the product for clinical validation, including FDA compliance and other regulatory requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • A very strong understanding of human anatomy, especially sectional anatomy over MR imaging.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret medical images effectively, particularly in the context of MR radiology
  • In-depth understanding of medical terminology, diseases, and diagnostic modalities
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the Computer Vision Team and other stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying discrepancies in labeled data.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, with a focus on radiology or related fields, is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in reading MR images and performing annotations on MR images
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as health science or medical imaging.
  • Passion for Prenuvo's mission and a strong desire to contribute to healthcare improvement through innovative technologies and research.
