The Analyst position will be responsible for creating and deploying routine and ad-hoc data services for RSS members and our clients. Key initiatives include the extraction, transfer, parsing, joining and formatting of data across various locations and presenting final reports in a clear, understandable format.

The Analyst will be responsible for identifying informed insights from the data and make sound recommendations or observations of this data to the end user. A significant component of this role is to democratize data across the enterprise and putting data into the hands of end users in a clear, usable way. 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA) 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Payment industry experience preferred
  • Big data and advanced language experience preferred (AWS, Hadoop, Data Bricks, Python, Spark)
  • Relevant work experience:
  • Proven experience as a business analyst or in a similar role
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Strong proficiency with data extraction, parsing, joining and reporting
  • Deriving insights and action items through analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office)
  • Exceptional presentation, consultative, and communication skills

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 91,000.00 to 120,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
