Analyst - Senior Associate, Benefits

ICONIQ Capital is looking for an individual to handle the administration of US, Singapore and UK based health and welfare benefit programs including 401(k) retirement plans, and participation in benefit initiatives and projects. Provide support to the Senior Benefits Manager and HR Business Partners for the firm.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the administration of US, Singapore and UK based health and welfare benefit plans including group health, dental, vison, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, disability, commuter, fringe benefits, paid time off and 401(k) retirement plans.
  • Primary point of contact for active and terminated employees, benefit plan vendors and HR Business Partners for benefit related inquiries and plan provision explanations. Work closely with the Benefits team members, insurance carriers and brokers on enrollment and eligibility questions and issue resolutions.
  • Accurately maintain employee benefit records and documentation in the benefits platform, HRIS system and drive folders.
  • Review and reconcile monthly insurance carrier invoices, working closely with the Finance and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate payments. Working with the carriers to reconcile differences and correct discrepancies. Partnering with the FO Payroll team to ensure accurate processing of benefit plan deductions. Maintain organized and accurate billing records.
  • Assist in/lead the annual compliance filings including Form 5500, ACA reporting, and other regulatory reporting requirements and audits.
  • Lead the annual projects including the 401(k) Plan audit and the Open Enrollment process for the firm and multiple family office entities.
  • Assist in open enrollment activities including answering employee questions, participating in open enrollment set-up meetings and audits.
  • Manage leave of absence program and inquiries.

 

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 1-2 years (Analyst) or 6+ years (Associate) of health and welfare benefit plan experience.
  • Retirement plan and leave administration experience a plus.
  • Solid understanding of state and federal laws and compliance regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA. Knowledge of California state law a plus.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word and general benefit enrollment systems and HRIS knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as detail orientation and organizational ability.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $90,000 - $145,000 together with the benefits listed above.
